The magnetic pole distribution of ring magnets is mainly divided into two types: axial magnetization and radial magnetization. Axially magnetized magnets have poles located at both ends of the ring, with one end being the N pole (magnetic flux density approximately 0.5-1.2T) and the other end being the S pole. This type is suitable for applications requiring an axial magnetic field, such as motor stators. Radial magnetized magnets have poles distributed on the inner and outer circumferential surfaces (N pole on the inner circumferential surface / S pole on the outer circumferential surface, or vice versa, with a magnetic flux density of 0.3-0.8T). This type is commonly found in sensors and magnetic coupling devices and can achieve a uniform radial magnetic field distribution.
